With the trees on site being removed a couple of weeks ago, the reduced digging and bulk muck-shifting has started this week. The site topsoil and existing tarmac will be stripped and removed from site ready for the building up of the foundations to the under-side of the block of 10 flats. At the same time the site will be made secure with the installation of the perimeter hoarding and gates so that the site and members of the public are safely separated. The site accommodation (office and canteen) will be delivered to the site within the next few weeks whilst excavations for drainage and foundations will be progressing.
